Cameron Olson (24), was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. The third-generation farmer completed his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University, and will be starting his Doctorate in Animal Science in 2018. He’s passionate about providing sustainable, nutrient-dense, animal-sourced foods as part of the effort to supply food to the world’s increasing population.

Alexis Wagner (25) is a bioprocess engineer who recently finished a master’s degree in Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge, where she was a Chevening Scholar, focusing on agricultural supply chain sustainability. Back in Canada, she is now the assistant brew master at Mill Street Brewery in Toronto. » more

25-year old Brandon Hebor grew up in Toronto, gaining a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Geography from McMaster University. He then launched his own urban farming business, Ripple Farms, and completed a graduate certificate in Green Business Management at Seneca College. » more

Cassanda Hayward (20) grew up in Halifax, and is working on her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Political Science and Sustainability with Honours, at University of Kings College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She’s combining her love for politics and agriculture in hopes of drafting future food policies for the provincial government. She also volunteers with Parks Canada to help conserve the endangered Blanding Turtles. » more
