What's the Stress Shield Difference?
Stress Shield is an insecticide engineered to not only protect your field against wireworms, but it also has improved plant health benefits. Under ideal conditions plants will dedicate available energy to increase growth and seed production. However, when a plant encounters pests, drought, heat or other stressors, they will re-direct energy stores to protect themselves.
Stress Shield curtails the negative effects of plant stressors by supplying a supplemental energy pool for plants to perform internal repairs and initiate other coping systems.
Stress Shield results in:
- Higher performing root systems
- Improved vigour
- Robust growth and increased yield
- Improved ability to better cope with unforeseen seasonal stresses
- Wireworm protection: Through ingestion and/or contact, the active ingredient in Stress Shield (imidacloprid) prevents wireworms from feeding on cereal crops, forcing them into a prolonged coma-like state
