Dear customers, consumers, and stakeholders,
For generations, people have trusted Bayer for solutions that help them live healthier lives and help provide a reliable supply of high-quality food. In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, these solutions are ever more important.
For that reason, Bayer Canada is focusing on two key priorities:
1. Protecting the safety and well-being of our employees as well as the communities in which we live and work remains our top priority. We have implemented far-reaching measures aimed at minimizing infection risks at our sites. Wherever possible, Bayer employees are working from home. For employees who can only perform their duties on site, we have introduced enhanced safety and social distancing practices. We have also postponed most face-to-face activities with our customers and key contacts and replaced them with virtual meetings where possible.
2. We have implemented necessary measures to protect business continuity in our operations. Delivering a sustainable supply of products and services to hospitals, doctors, patients, consumers and farmers is imperative or crucial for us.
Each of us at Bayer is guided by our Purpose – Science for a better life – and we will do whatever it takes to help serve the world’s health and nutritional needs both during and after this crisis.
