Overview
- Group 29 herbicide
- Provides excellent long-term residual control
- Provides pre-emergent control for a broad spectrum of weeds. If emerged weeds are present at the time of application, tank mix Alion™ with a contact herbicide.
- Controls annual grassy and broadleaf weeds, including glyphosate, triazine and ALS resistant weeds
- Is an excellent resistance management tool
- Has a low dose rate
- Alion prevents weeds from emerging by inhibiting the growth of the developing radicle (early root) in the seed germination zone
- Needs only 1/4 inch of rain to activate

Grapes
- Not suitable for use on soils with 20% or more gravel content or on sand or loamy-sand soils or on soils with less than 1% organic matter
- Alion can be applied anytime during the season as long as ground is not frozen or snow covered and as long as there is not any type of soil disturbance, including hilling/dehilling operations after application. Apply after the soil settles.
- Apply to established grapes of at least five full growing season after transplanting
- Apply to grapes that have been planted at least 30 cm deep or alternatively, grapes with a 30 cm soil barrier (berm) between the soil surface and the major portion of the root system
Do not allow spray or spray drift to contact crop foliage, green bark, roots or fruit of the crop being treated as it may cause localized crop injury or death
