Timing
Leaf Disease For optimum control of leaf and stem diseases, apply Folicur EW from the late vegetative stage (flag leaf fully emerged to awn emergence) to the end of the flowering stage. Folicur EW should be applied at the very early stages of disease development.
Fusarium Head Blight in Wheat For optimum suppression of fusarium head blight in wheat and control of glume blotch, apply Folicur EW fungicide within the time period from when at least 75% of the wheat heads on the main stem are fully emerged to when 50% of the heads on the main stem are in flower. Tips & Tricks

Application Tips

  • For best results, treat the crop prior to infection. High humidity, heavy dew and rain during the days preceding head emergence and during flowering put cereal crops at high risk of FHB infection.
  • Folicur EW is registered in wheat, barley and oats at 3/4 rate for control of leaf diseases only.
  • Wheat head coverage is critical to protect wheat from fusarium head blight. Improved spray coverage of heads may be achieved by using forward- and backward-mounted nozzles, or nozzles that have two directional spray.
